Hey Beautiful!
This is the final Refill of 2025, and it covers the brand new start of 2026. Plus, I have a special reveal inside, so be sure to scroll all the way down!
This edition will cover the Flavor of the YEAR (I know, right?!), as interpreted through the main ingredients of intuition, numerology, astrology, and tarot cards. Then, because we have the first full moon of 2026 just 3 days into the new year, I also include the Flavor of the Week so we don’t miss out on this moon magic. The full moon message also came with a channelled synchronicity, which might be confirmation or a catalyst for someone! I end this edition with the theme song for the new year!!
All of this is to help us transition into the new collective cycle with greater awareness, clarity, and empowerment. Enjoy!
Flavor of the YEAR 😋

The Dawn of a New Day ☀️
The Flavor of the New Year is: The Dawn of a New Day. This energy alludes to a period of transition from the waning of difficulties into the waxing of new possibilities with promises of healing and blessings. This is all dependent on our free will choice to let go and to ferry ourselves forward in faith. Here are the main ingredients…
2026 Tarot Cards: The 6 of Swords 🗡️ + The Star ⭐️

The Six of Swords and The Star from the Manzel Tarot Deck
I pulled this combination of cards twice in my inquiries for 2026, which means the message of transition, healing, faith, hope, renewal… is potent and definitely wants to reach the people I serve.
The 6 of swords implies that we’ve recently endured hardship, yet it consoles us with the promise of better days ahead. Of course, better is relative, but we at least experience a sense of reprieve and smoother sailing for a stretch of time. It’s especially focused on easing our minds, whatever that entails.
Because this is a message for the year, it could take time before we start to feel this sense of relief. For some it could be immediate, right out of the gate. For others, a sense of peace might gradually build over the year. Or we may go through multiple cycles of relief throughout the next 12 months.
The 6 of swords comes as a result of our free will choice to move on. Have you called for help? And when the rescue boats come, do you resist and try to cling to where you are? Do you complain that the boat was late or that it’s small and cramped? Or do you get in the rescue boat with gratitude?
The Star, which is associated with the zodiac sign of Aquarius, is an even stronger message of hope and healing. It sends us glimpses and glimmers of future possibilities and wishes that are twinkling in the distance as we journey along.
It’s a card of about 17-21 years into the future. So our transitions this year might very well point to a longer story that unfolds in our lives over a couple of decades. Which happens to be about the amount of time that Pluto will be in Aquarius, so lets’ watch that space over the next year to sense where we might be headed.
Synchronistically, the 6 of swords is also an Aquarius card. It represents Mercury in Aquarius. So if we’re anticipating a time of year, let’s look to Mercury’s transit through Aquarius, which happens pretty soon and pretty quickly from January 20th - February 6th. It might be something subtle that we dismiss as having no particular significance, yet it could very well be a seed that bears fruit in the future or a dot that connects in a series of many dots to come. It’s especially potent because Mercury is in Aquarius during Aquarius season this year, which means it’s traveling close to the Sun, shining a spotlight on that area of your life.
The Star card, though, is definitely in alignment with the numerology and astrology for 2026 as it beckons us toward the vulnerability of expressing of our own unique light with others around us.
2026 Numerology: 1 - A New Universal Cycle 🌀

Collectively, a new cycle is dawning as we enter 2026, which is a universal 1 year in numerology. (2+0+2+6 = 10. 1+0 = 1.)
That means 2025 was a 9 year, closing out a cycle. Oftentimes 9 years are challenging because the energy wants us to purge, shed, and complete what’s necessary before the next new cycle begins. If 2025 felt especially rough, this 9 energy might have contributed to that, revealing what simply cannot sustain going forward. This is waning.
The 1 energy of 2026 is clearing a space to build a new foundation. It is not immediate gains and wins because it is planting the seeds or laying the groundwork for what we might cultivate in the new 9-year cycle. It is waxing possibilities. And these possibilities still require our attention and intention.
What I love about this being a 1 year, though, is that 1 energy calls us forward to lead our own lives and live our authentic truths. The world needs more of us goodhearted folks to drop the masks, the outdated scripts, and the stale recipes for something that’s original and unique to us.
And because this 1 energy is composed of 2 and 6 energy, it reminds us that our individual authenticity is the pathway to true partnership and service to our community. Which aligns beautifully with the astrology of 2026!
2026 Key Astrology Shifts: Air 💨 & Fire 🔥
The new year brings a major shift from denser water and earth energies toward the swifter energies of Air and Fire. This transition has already started with outer planets like Pluto, which has been in the the air sign of Aquarius since 2023. I made a video explaining Pluto in Aquarius that you can delve into here. In 2026, we have the planets Neptune and Saturn entering the fire sign of Aries and the planet Uranus entering the air sign of Gemini.
Because these outer planets move slowly across the sky and sometimes take decades or a lifetime to revolve around the Sun, they’re considered generational planets. That means their energy is impacting the masses, often catalyzing societal changes in addition to their personal impact. So we often look to these planets when we think of major cultural and global shifts like the invention of the internet or AI, or other generation-defining technologies, major political waves, or earth-altering geological phenomenon.
Because these planets move so slowly, it’s super rare that they are all entering air and fire signs around the same time. Thus astrologers are all speaking to the significance of this particular time on Earth. And this focus aligns with channelled messages transmitted by diverse people for the past several years, all speaking to the world shifting during these years that we’re in right now, through the end of this decade.
Finally, the nodes, where eclipses happen, are also moving into air and fire this year as we start a new eclipse cycle in the signs of Aquarius and Leo.
I’ll continue to explore this astrology in the weeks to come, but to start off the new year, here are two main ideas:
This energy favors people who are willing to choose change, evolution, growth, or ascension (whichever words resonate). Be prepared to surrender any paradigm you once took for granted as a finite truth, especially if that paradigm restricts your freedom or freedom of others.
Freedom in Unity. Individuality in Community. A central question for the collective will be: How do I show up in community or in partnership in a way that honors my unity with others while honoring and shining my most authentic, individual self-expression? And what are the communities and partnerships that facilitate this collective freedom versus those that seek to enforce conformity or try to negate individual sovereignty and divinity?

🌕 Full Moon in Cancer: Healing Home 🏡 and Finding Your Place in the World 🌍
The new year starts with a full moon in the zodiac sign of Cancer, the sign of our private lives and our hearth and home. The moon is literally at home in the sign of Cancer.
The Sun, meanwhile, is across the sky in the zodiac sign of Capricorn, the sign of our public life and our role in the wider world. While the Sun is not the ruler of Capricorn, it’s a beautiful synchronicity that Capricorn represents where we can shine, where we rise and let ourselves be seen, usually through our vocation or a social status we have.
Rather than geeking out about the astrological details, I want to offer a few journal prompts for practical reflection in the light of this full moon. Remember: Full moons are times of clarity, culmination, release, and letting go.
What sensitive wounds did I get from my past at home, among family or from ancestors?
How have those wounds shaped my sense of self?
How do the wounded aspects of my ego identity create challenges to my sense of belonging and fulfillment in the world?
What experiences from my past at home am I ready to release?
What old story about my role in society no longer fits who I’m becoming now?
How might my wounds become a map back home to myself and a map toward my most authentic place in the wider world?
A Channelled Synchronicity for Someone?
As I was writing the full moon reflections, I was brought back to a recent dream, which brought to mind the Wounded Knee Massacre. So I stopped writing to Google it, and found out that TODAY is the 135th anniversary of the Wounded Knee Massacre, which occurred on December 29, 1890. And just like 2025, that year of 1890 was also a universal 9 year.
I’m sure there’s a collective resonance among some of my readers, especially as we reflect on intergenerational wounds from our ancestors or from our own past lives. I’m really curious if this channelled synchronicity resonates with you specifically!
Revealing the Official Cover Art for my upcoming, debut book, COLORISM.
I was sitting on this until I got closer to the end of my writing process. Now that the manuscript is officially in production, I’m thrilled to share this with my newsletter readers. A lot of the production is out of my hands, which I love. But my one non-negotiable was that the book cover be an unequivocal representation of my message. I had to advocate for this and clarify why it was a must. Thankfully, my team was responsive and delivered!
The official release is JULY 2026, but for my most eager readers, Preorder your copy here!
Open Mic 🎤: Theme Song for the New Year
Music helps set the mood and facilitates shifts in our emotions, mindset, and energy. The song I’ve selected as a theme to usher in this new year was primarily inspired by the six of swords tarot card. It’s a song in praise of resilience, hope, and moving forward toward positive change. And it’s a 70s classic that I first heard in the 90s film Boyz n the Hood.
Sincerely,
