Hey Gorgeous!
We’re halfway through Gemini season, and this week we get our Gemini new moon, which helps us start a new page in a specific area of our lives. This week also carries one of the sweetest, warm and cozy transits ever with Venus meeting Jupiter in the sign of Cancer. It’s giving heart and mind in sympathetic vibration! It’s giving heart and mind coherence, working in tandem and supporting each other. So if you’ve struggled to get your heart and mind on the same page, this week could bring you a nice assist.

A Visionary Cultivator 💭
In The Dream Studio, I teach the framework I used to build Colorism Healing—a global ecosystem that has touched and changed thousands of lives around the world. And I use channeling, dream work, and practical strategy to coach soul searchers like you on how to apply that framework to build your own vision for your life, your family, or your community.
Colorism Healing was the product of one visionary. The Dream Studio is a cultivator of multiple visionaries. I believe in the power of building our dreams in community with other dream architects as we collectively build a new world.

Flavor of the Week 😋: Refined Senses
This week’s overall flavor is Refined Senses, a blend of our Venus - Jupiter meetup in Cancer and our new moon in Gemini on Sunday night. I was drawn to the Sabian Symbols for both of these astrological events, and there’s a nice harmony between both.

“Contentment and happiness in luxury”: Venus Conjunct Jupiter in Cancer at 25°
“Contentment and happiness in luxury, people reading on davenports (sofas)” is the Sabian Symbol for 25°-26° of Cancer. The sign of Cancer deals with home and what we need to feel at home within ourselves, with others, and within our environment. An image of people reading on a sofa is one good illustration of that. When we add to that cozy Cancerian energy the most luxurious and the most abundant planets, Venus and Jupiter, meeting up and hanging out with each other, we get peak “contentment and happiness in luxury.”
The luxury of sitting on a fancy sofa and engaging in activities that bring you pleasure is very Venus, as she deals with our physical senses and the refined things in life. The reading element specifically is a great representation for Jupiter because Jupiter is not just abundance, it’s also expansion of the mind, higher learning, philosophy, beliefs, and wisdom.
Another way to think about Venus meeting Jupiter is that the open and loving heart meets the higher, evolved mind, and they dance in sync with each other. Actively lean into this type of energy, always, but especially this week as the cosmos drizzles some extra sweetness in our cups.
“A man trimming palms”: Gemini New Moon at 24°
“A man trimming palms” is the Sabian Symbol for 24°-25° of Gemini, where this week’s new moon occurs. The palm trimming is symbolic for refining our thoughts and our mental activity to support growth and flourishing. While researching this Sabian Symbol, I was reminded of the channeling session I did that morning. The book Think and Grow Rich came through. The symbol of trimming palms so that they thrive and grow higher was a beautiful metaphor about tending to our thoughts in the same way so that our minds, and so that we can “grow rich” and thrive.
We must remember how fruitful our thoughts are, especially our repeated and habitual thoughts, and especially our subconscious thoughts that play on a constant loop in the background without our awareness. Because our thoughts are so fruitful, we must take care to clean them up so that we receive the fruit we actually want, fruit that’s refreshing, nourishing, healthy, and enjoyable rather than bitter or toxic.
New moons are iconic times for planting new seeds, and a new moon in Gemini is a beautiful time to plant seeds of the mind specifically. Begin to plant the seeds of new thoughts that will support your growth and flourishing.
The mental “trimming” process can be aided by being more intentional and pickier about the content and the conversations you consume that influence your thoughts.
This new moon falls in the third decan of Gemini, represented in tarot by the 10 of Swords. This speaks to the fact that how we think and our thought patterns can hurt us more than we might realize at first. However, when we’re willing to put an end to that destructive way of thinking, we can turn to face the dawn of a new day. This week’s new moon, could represent the dawning of a new way of thinking after a painful or even tearful release of an old way of thinking. Fortunately, that painful and tearful “trimming” may have already happened a couple of weeks ago during the Sagittarius full moon. That would have created space for planting new thought seeds now at this Gemini new moon.
Uranus in Gemini has already been helping us and spurring us on to make these mental changes. Uranus in Gemini wants us to free our minds and upgrade our thoughts so that our minds work with us and not against us as we unfold into who we’re becoming.

Dr. Ally, fellow Gemini, fellow first time author, fellow Legacy Lit author, just released her new book, The Problem With Pretty: Beauty, Bias, and the Surprising Science of Good Looks last week. I did an Instagram live with Dr. Ally the evening of her book launch discussing her new book, my new book, and a lot of Gemini kiki! I’ve included the video below.
Journal Prompts for Venus Conjunct Jupiter in Cancer and the Gemini New Moon ✍🏿
What simple, not based on a price tag, luxury can you appreciate this week?
How do you know when you heart and mind are working in tandem? What does it feel like? What happens in your life? Make note of this, and use it as a compass!
What habitual thoughts can you “trim” to better support or improve your general mood or outlook?
What steps can you take to surround yourself with content and conversations that support your growth?, your wellbeing and joy, or your goals and dreams?
What though patterns or ways of thinking might be required to achieve your current goals?
Open Mic 🎤
It was very difficult to land on the one song for this week. Appropriately, the victor was Janelle Monae’s “Victory.” This song reminds us that “It’s the little things, like a mustard seed” that make a significant difference in our lives. Think of your everyday thoughts as the little things, your thoughts as tiny mustard seeds that grow into much more and bear fruit in your present and future. Especially your subconscious thoughts.
Sincerely,
Dr. Sarah
