Hey Beautiful,
Are you experiencing any major culminations or full circle moments right now? Have you gained surprising perspective on your life path recently? Do you feel like you’re in something like a time warp?
I’m experiencing a moment like that, and I noticed it perfectly corresponds to the time that the planet Neptune was in the sign of Pisces, 2011-2026. Fifteen years. What themes were prominent in your life back in 2011, and how have those themes unfolded in the fifteen years since then?
Neptune is associated with illusions and fantasies, or being in a dream-like state. Growing up, I loved fantasy movies and shows about secret portals to parallel dimensions. One of the first ones I watched on television was The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. You’re likely familiar with other variations like Alice falling through the looking glass to end up in Wonderland, or Dorthy waking up from a vivid fever dream in The Wizard of Oz.
There are three things I notice about stories like this:
Characters typically stumble upon these portals purely by happenstance.
They enter these portals with no idea of what lies ahead, just pursuing curiosity and a sense of adventure.
They often return to their original world where everything appears the same, yet they themselves are completely transformed by their experiences, usually wiser, stronger, and more self-assured, as though they’ve lived a whole alternate lifetime.

The best HR advice comes from those in the trenches. That’s what this is: real-world HR insights delivered in a newsletter from Hebba Youssef, a Chief People Officer who’s been there. Practical, real strategies with a dash of humor. Because HR shouldn’t be thankless—and you shouldn’t be alone in it.
I’m perceiving Neptune’s entrance into Pisces in 2011 like stumbling through a portal into a mystical timeline, and Neptune exiting Pisces recently in 2026 like reemerging from that portal, or waking up from that vivid dream.
And the reflection to ponder is less about what has changed in the world, and it’s really about how that adventure has changed you from the inside out.

Waking Up TO the Dream
The Neptune in Pisces transit impacted my astrological 10th house of career and public reputation, and what I started in 2011 is now culminating in my first book!
It’s not that the last 15 years of our lives were all just illusion or fantasy. Maybe it was for some. But I sense that Neptune in Pisces was the Universe using sleight of hand.
Yes Neptune can be that smoke and mirrors kind of planet. Professional or even hobbyist magicians will tell you that a lot of what they do is simply drawing your attention toward one thing so they can divert your attention away from what’s really happening.
I believe the Universe does this in a benevolent way, whether it’s to spur us into deeper healing, more growth and self discovery, or greater achievement than we would have otherwise had without these special quests and parallel adventures. It’s like disguising vegetables in other types of food to get your kids to eat them.
And now that we’ve gotten our special treasures—growth, self-awareness, expertise, confidence—we can start again at this Pisces new moon, now equipped to make this next chapter even dreamier.
Because this new moon happens on March 18th at 9:24pm ET, less than 48 hours before the Equinox and the start of Aries season, the astrological new year, this week is truly amped up with new beginnings and new cycles.
So why not lean into it? What might it feel like if you awaken to a new dream? Could you now see a more life affirming vision for your life than you had previously imagined? Even if the essence is the same as before, how could you make it more vivid, more real, more felt and embodied this time?
How can you plant some seed this week, however small, for a dream life that you’re excited to wake up to every day?
